Didn't read through this entire thread, but has anyone used spacers with the 2017-2018 BRZ with the performance package wheels? Do 15 and 20mm spacers work on these cars with these wheels?

If they don't have pockets like the old stock wheels, my guess yes but in the back I would get some longer aftermarket studs...

I am planning on running a 20f/25r setup. I am planning on getting the Eibach spacers from ft86speedfactory. Will these work with the stock wheels on my '13 fr-s?

Yes they will. 25mm will completely hide the stud and 20mm will leave a little bit of stud poke out, but the oem wheels have wholes on those areas and will fit. I ran my FRS during winter time on stock wheels and 15mm/20mm spacers and they fit no problem.

Do you have to cut studs with 20mm spacers or will they fit fine without sticking through the spacer? I have 25mm in the back now

Welcome to the forum!

Yes you will have to cut them, unless your wheels have holes or "pockets" for the studs to stick into. For stock wheels, just go with 25mm front and 30mm rear spacers. Then they will just bolt on.

I used a hacksaw to cut 10 studs. It took a solid hour of hacksawing. It's not on my list of things to do again!

I'm on my 5th set of spacers...

Good Luck!

There's enough of a cavity on the backside of the OEM wheels that you can use them with 20mm without any trimming. I used Eibach spacers.

For people who have fitted 15mm on the front (OEM wheels with standard suspension) did you have to trim the stock studs or did they bolt on with no issues.

@Jonboy73, 15mm spacers are too thin. I had them before. Go with 20mm-25mm to be safe.
The OEM wheels have deep pockets and I can see a 15mm working. Here is a pic of them.

So will 15mm work with the OEM 17" wheels or are they too thin ?? The first part of the answer contradicts the second reply????? For me 20mm brings the wheels out too far on the front hence the need for 15mm.

If they have pockets on the mounting face, then yes.

Edit: Going back one page in this tread, shows pockets. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...&postcount=112

I have 20f 25r

I would have probably preferred 15/20 but my spacers came as a set so I went with these..
