Pairing Sachs dampers with aftermarket spring?

For 2017, Subaru softened the rear suspension some while stiffening the front, presumably for better turn-in and stability near and at the limits.

Not sure how the Sachs compare to standard shocks, so it's hard to know how to pair them with springs, and obviously it all boils down to what you want and what you're willing to sacrifice to get it. If I /did/ want to experiment with the Sachs/aftermarket spring combo, any ideas where I should be looking?

Hasn't this already been mentioned multiple times in the CSG and RCE tag-team suspension Q&A thread, that the RCE Yellow springs would be a good match for the SACHS dampers?

Just put some STI pink on them. There is not even a need to go aftermarket, ppl can tell you lots things but subaru know what they are doing from the start.

I'm wondering the same thing. Also can I go to coilovers without getting lights on my dash? I believe the sachs have some electronics attached to them.

I'm pretty sure the system for sachs is fully mechanical.

You're absolutely right. The electronics I was referring to was the hill-assist nonsense that is turned off (standard) fortunately
