Good tire to wheel specs?

Looking for some help along the lines of tire sizes.. Im going to be doing track and autox and wi be going 17 x 9.
With an offset of 38. What of how wideshould i run either z2 or anyother high performance tire

You planning to compete in stock class or STX for autocross? You need to stay with 7" wide wheel in stock class. 9" wheels would put you into STX and it will be very painful handicap wise if you don't fully prep your car with coilovers, camber plates, etc in that class. Very expensive to do it right.

I would suggest going with 235/40 Direzzas or Hankooks on 7" wheels. The difference in handling over stock tires will amaze you.

Iv had z1 on 7.5 and no not stx fk that

If classing isn't important, try a 245/40/17.
