Looking to get new rims/tires for supercharged 2018 BRZ tS

Hi, thanks for taking the time to respond

Since I need new tires, I am in the market for new rims as well. The stock rims are 18 inches (not sure of width but not that wide). I initially wanted 19's but after doing some digging here, it seems those would be too 'big' for the car. So now I am looking into 18's that are wider to fill in the wheel well gap and provide a better look from the back.

I'm pretty sure the tires on it now are pilot sport 3's? Regardless, I will be needing new summer tires. I do not drive it from December to April pretty much.

It's a Jackson Racing supercharger producing about 280 whp and 240 wtq. So I believe there is enough power to warrant a wider 18 inch rim. Also, I want to keep the suspension and all that as close to stock as possible.

So I basically just need some ideas/opinions/experience as to what size rims would be ideal for this situation also tires. Also if anyone has some brands or companies to recommend I would greatly appreciate it!

p.s. I live in Rhode Island and there are potholes everywhere. So I am not looking to lower the car.

No coilovers = heavily restricted wheel/tire sizing.

Coilovers = much more freedom.

You *CAN* run aftermarket coilovers higher than stock, in some instances.

Thoughts?

I guess it would depend on the price. I am already gonna be dropping a lot of $ especially with this inflation. So I was hoping to just do the tire/rim change.
