Light shave on the rear fender, didn't cut any metal. Camber is around ~-2 to -2.5 atm.

I know there are a lot of us that want to get as much tire/wheel under the car as we can (because it looks awesome aside from the cornering benefits) with as little modification as possible.

Do you think if yours were +45 instead of +40 you would have still had to shave the fender. Also what rates are you running? My coils are 7k/8k

I'm currently looking at 18x8.5 +45 offset. Will these fit on stock suspension on a 2022 BRZ?
I've been getting different answers that less aggressive offsets will hit the strut/spacer. Please advise. |

Yep it'll be completely fine presuming you'll be running 225/40, 235/40 or 235/35 tyres.

I've read that people are running 9.5 +45 w/ 245/35 without issues as well, but I can't really answer that for you as I had trimmed my rear fenders before test-fitting my wheels after finding posts on jp twitter. My current coils are 8k front/10k rear.

I just fitted rt615k+ 265 35 18 on a 18 9.5 +45….yup lots of rubbing. Lots of modifications to the back fenders. I added a 5 mm spacer to the front but still rub when full lock. Thanks to a dremel and lots of patience I managed to remedy the back with no more rubbing. The new grip is awesome! I’ll probably add a 7mm spacer up front and see if that fixes the rubbing. I previously had 255 ps4s with a 10mm pacer up front with no rubbing.

I have Coilovers on the way and will be test fitting 18x10 +40 with a 255/35 once they are installed. I’ll keep this thread updated on how it goes/what’s required
I’ve managed to fit some pretty aggressive wheels and tires on other platforms before and this brz will no be exception |

Currently rocking some 18x8.5 +43 TC105's. Think I'm going to pull the trigger on some 245/35 tires and pray I don't rub. I should be good correct? Currently rocking -2.5 degrees of camber in the rear and almost the same in the front.

Your 8.5 shouldn't be a problem at all with that size.

Are you sure about this? I think the referenced 86Speed GR (video above) had mentioned that exact spec which require shaving of the rear fender. There are many documented cases where 17x9, +45 is already a VERY tight fit. 17x9.5, +40 is another 11mm poke from that.
