How much camber? Been trying to build some wheels and have held off for the past 6 months to figure out fitment I want to go 18X9 ET35 up front and ET38-40 in rear. I like the way your fitment looks just hardly anyone posts how much camber they are running.

Yes. Little less than 1 inch drop. About the same effect as on my last gen.

Just do ET40 and space the front 5mm. Then you can still rotate the wheels for tire wear.

-1.5 degrees of camber all 4 corners, no rubbing anywhere that i can find or hear. rear is pretty flush, front could take maybe a 3-5mm spacer to get completely flush with fender.
This kinda conflicts with all other info out there. The consensus is 9" +38 with 245s would definitely rub at the rear, especially with only -1.5 camber. I can see it's not very low which would help clearance. Have you pushed it hard yet?

It looks great by the way!

Thanks, I've driven it decently hard. I did finally hear what sounded like some rubbing hitting a pretty large bump I didn't see to avoid yesterday. But haven't gone to a canyon since install to really test, planning to do that this weekend. I'm just not seeing any evidence yet of wear on tires or fenders to suggest there is consistent rubbing. I have driven about 700 miles so far with the new wheels and tires.

Thanks. Your setup gives me hope, especially considering that I plan to trim the plastic bit and the sheetmetal behind it.

I plan to lower it about an inch, -2.2 front and -1.5 rear camber. I think I'll go 17x9 ET43 or ET42 with 245/40 all round and 6-7mm spacers up front.

Was at the track yesterday. With my camber settings and ride height, -3F -2R 1 inch drop, there was no rub. No fender modifications.

Thanks. Do you think you will rub if rear camber was less than -2?

Thanks.

Unsure, It's very close looking. Would have to pull spring from coilover to fully compress and see and I'm far too lazy for that

I've had this car for almost three months and have had a great time doing some small mods (PowerStop brake pads, Castrol SRF brake fluid, K&N Air Filter, TRD Duckbill Spoiler) and taking it to the track for a couple of HPDE1 events. I live in the Northeast and want to get a separate set of wheels / tires for non-Winter daily driver and track day duty and could really use some advice as I've read through this entire thread and am still not confident about fitment.

I'd like to get flush fitment and avoid replacing the stock suspension or rolling / pulling fenders if possible. I like the Aodhan AH09 (and its price) which comes in 18", 8.5", ET35, but I'm not sure if the offset is too aggressive on a 8.5" wide wheel (I know it would be on a 9.5" wheel). In this post from Panda Grahams it looks like he was able to achieve flush fitment with a 0.5" thinner wheel and I'd be using the same 225 tire size. With that being said I don't see any Gen2 BRZs or 86s with the AH09 wheels online, which doesn't make me hopeful.

To throw another variable into the mix I'll also be installing these fender flares which say they "add another 8mm" (inspiration here). The installation guide for the fender flares requires minimal drilling inside the wheel well so I think this is something I could do on my own without any invasive cutting / welding. I guess it's fairly obvious the tires will looks more 'tucked' with the additional 8mm added to fender? Ultimately, I'm looking for a flush fitment without any rubbing. If anyone sees any obvious mistakes with AH09 / 225 + 40R / fender flare setup, please let me know.

When you say flush, do you mean flush with the new over fenders? You'll need plenty of cutting to get that. At least cut the invasive part that the fender tab thing usually mounts to.

I think 225s on 8.5s with +35 offset would probably be OK with the above mod, presuming you'll be running no camber adjustment (exact camber depends on how lowered it is).
