This has happened to mine before.
What I think happened is it got wet and corroded. That caused it to arc and get hot. You should be able to clean it with some fine sandpaper and it will be fine.

I've had similar issues. Just cleaned up the connectors and re connected

Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting a Torqamp someday, do you think it would work with an OFT custom tune ?

I have a Phantom supercharger without the small vacuum hose between the supercharger and controller box. I think I have a "later" (v3?) version of the kit, but how does the controller/supercharger avoid being restrictive when not active if I don't have the vacuum hose/sensor?

That won't affect the the flow of air when not activated. If it doesn't have the port if simply doesn't need it. If it does have the port. Just buy a small 2-3mm hose at autozone.

did the newer versions have a two stage switch to compensate for that? Been too long and I have the one with the hose.

The newer ones did have a two stage switch. Ok Yea just get a hose at autozone nad put it on. I can't remember for sure but if the phantom feels there's. No vacuum or pressure to that sensor it doesn't come on or only comes on like 50% not sure tho I could be wrong but I saw something like that on the original install videos

Either way though you should be fine I'm running two phantoms in tandem and experience no restriction even when I'm not boosting.

Sooooo..........I got pulled over guys for loud exhaust. When the cop was talking to me about the exhaust he proceeded to take a peep into my vents and saw the turbskies. As you can guess he asked to popped my hood. Cop cited me for the exhaust. The aftermarket modifications and ride height. So now I have to put the car back to stock and take it to a state ref. I'm most likely not gonna bother putting everything back on together so I want to know if anyone here is interested in purchasing my twin phantom supercharger setup. Im going to be selling everything you need to to run the set up just like I am. That includes the flex fuel kit and OFT. If you don't need oft I can always lower the price a bit. But I'm shooting for 2000$ for the full kit. Not including the batteries of course unless you are local since I can't ship those. It'll be a couple of weeks before I remove everything. And put it together but if anyone is interested send me a message.
