The DeLorean is a rear-engine car, so having all the time travel gadgetry in the back makes sense. Putting it in the back of a front-engine car won't do you any good.

Oh I loved that car.. #2648.. great car.. very reliable.. and mine was pretty quick.. for a DeLorean..lol.. I had wanted one when i was a kid.. so for my 30th B-day I bought one..lol
