Play in SPC LCA bushing
I noticed this the other day while installing new coilovers. Is this normal? Sorry for the quality. The video is the rear LCA attached only to the hub.

Seems like a tremendous amount of movement. Is it cracked and splitting?

Terrible video! Try putting the light behind you next time.
I am guessing that is a end bearing Those will wear out and need replaced. Rotational movement on that is not an issue you need to check it for play in and out. |

That's the spherical joint in the wheel hub, not the spc lca, it's supposed to have multiple degrees of freedom. As long as you don't have unusual noises back there it's probably fine.

Can't see video because imgur is being a shit, but I don't think I could see the video even if imgur was allowing me, just from the thumbnail I can tell that I wouldn't be able to see a thing.
The rear lca has the wheel end joint pressed into the knuckle, I've seen a few of those go bad on foresters, it should rotate freely, but axial and lateral play are a big no-no. Even if there is no noise, play in that spherical joint means bad alignment. https://www.whiteline.com.au/product...63412&sq=24130 |

Movement in an undesired axis would be wear, which means it's loose, which means it would make noise when loaded and unloaded.
