Delete of Air Conditioning

So does anyone know of something to take the place of the deleted A/C Unit? Once I remove it the belt will be out of pattern... the car is a full track car so all under dash items will be removed also.. Suggestions or products please

Ummmmmm... that would be one option... I forgot the obvious.. I have to play nicely in the playground.. I have been warned that they are going over my car with a ruler !!!

Might have to make a new bracket from billet with a quality bearing and tensioner or adjuster.. trying to avoid that cost !!

Japan has the RS version with no air con so you'd think there would be a factory part that does it for you. How you go about finding that part I have no idea though.

get a piece of string and tie around the rest of the pulleys and see if you can just use a shorter belt. If you can, count the number of ribs and go to your local napa / autozone/whatever and get a belt that's the right length. You might have to buy a couple to get one that plays nice with the tensioner as you don't want it fully extended or retracted.

So it's been a while and I hope someone knows more about the AC delete.. I just need to keep the belt in pattern.. I ran it for a little while the other day and the AC compressor whilst disconnected and blanked off felt hot.. it's a potential problem and weight I just dont need.

Any pics or seller of this item would be great ... I am in the States (CA) on 6 December and hope to take home any race bits !!!

Thanks for looking ... all suggestions welcome

You're gonna have to import the part. Overnight it from Japan so to speak. I'd talk to AVO honestly. This isn't something they stock, but they have offices in both the US and Japan and they seem like a decent group of guys.
