I'm currently reliving all my old gen 1 quirks!

Tail light and front turn signal condensation, marks on the tops of the windows from where the rubber sits, hood fluttering, hunting/bouncing idle, dash starting to come up in that one spot by the middle right vent, slave cylinder oozing, etc.

What else am I forgetting?

Somehow my area has been safe from the blackouts.

Let me know if you want to grab a beer on me sometime while you're in the area.

The cranky first and second gear shifts when the transmission is cold?

Sometimes it has felt slightly difficult to get the shifter into second when the car is cold, but I'd say only like 5% of the time. Otherwise it feels like buttah sliding into any gear.

This one's crickets are hardly noticeable! Or I just can't hear them over the exhaust!

Sounds like my gen 1. Took her out for a 150 spin through the rain showers tis afternoon. When the car is well warmed up the engine and transmission are slick as greased

The older you get, the less sound the crickets make.

Hood fluttering?

I never noticed the dash lifting. It looked the same to me as always.

Yeah at like 75-80+ on the freeway the hood gets some air under it and starts moving slightly up and down. I remember it happening on my old one too.

Dash is lifting EVER so slightly in that one known spot, hardly noticeable whatsoever.

Ah, speeds I rarely ever got it up to

Didn't know the dash had a common issue.
