MK3 / A70 Toyota Supra appeciation thread

Very interesting but not sure its worth the price.

from the article:
The manual gearbox 1990 Toyota Supra from County Hills Toyota in Calgary, Alberta in Canada, looks like it just entered the showroom yesterday; it only has 93 miles (150km) on the odometer and the seats, floors and door panels are still wrapped in plastic, just as you'd expect from any new vehicle in a dealership.

If somebody wants that car bad enough then any price is the right price.

It looks awful for a new car, they have had it forever for a ridiculous price. The paint is faded slightly and has lots of scratches, people have been allowed to sit and touch the car.

That car is a piece of trash. I would buy it if it was listed at $3k. After 24 years and only 93 miles, can you imagine the corrosion and brittleness that various parts of it have endured? Cars are meant to be driven, not locked away left to rot.

The price is ridiculous... Our 91 Supra 3.0i Turbo ran 49.000km.100% factory stock, original wheels on the car only 4.500km. Head gasket was done about 3 years ago.

So we wanted a value check for the insurance Company. It got rated 2+ (B+), that equals 12.500.

48.000 is way over the top...
