Actually LOL, that's just how it happened.

I found myself apologizing and making excuses to Enkou... I swear babe, it wasn't you, it was me, that never happens, I must have been nervous or something.

Drove my FRS to work today. Made a concerted effort to slow my roll & not drive like such a d*ck.

Didn't lose any time but was sad and bored. Did not crash.

Drove my FR-S, watched someone else crash, and nearly had a huge light pole fall on mine!

Car is unharmed though!

Wife and I went out last night to play some music, and someone's house was leaking a bunch of water on a corner I can easily take at 80 km/h. I was in 3rd at around 50 km/h, so put my foot down a little to induce a bit of tail slide and the nannies caught me (as anticipated). I flashed a huge grin to my wife who did NOT look impressed. I guess those situations aren't as fun for the passenger.

Good thing is we did not crash

Feel lucky that all you got was a "not impressed look".......

Had to dodge someone's tire that basically exploded on the freeway today. Tread separation i guess?

The agility of these cars never fails to astound me.

I took a round-a-bout a tad fast last night and had the tail whip around as the rear tires couldn't keep up with the front end. 2c temperatures didn't help.
I pulled out of the gas station and saw the car behind me suddenly accelerate as I was nearing the corner, which prompted me to take it faster as I didn't want the other car next me to driving like that. Turned out to be a toyota matrix and the driver was driving it within a inch of it's life. There was a second round-a-bout 400 meters ahead, by then the matrix caught up after witnessing my tail happy maneuver. I decided to disengage by taking the first exit which lead back towards the shopping malls.

I will have to adjust to the attention this car is giving me around town, since I've had a couple of people aggressively speed up behind me while I'm driving normally. Slightly unnerving at the time it happened as they were driving like maniacs.

Before I got my 86, if I saw one driving around I'd try catch up to it. It would be fun to pull up next to one and check it out. I still do this in the 86. I can't say I've noticed other cars doing that to me though.

What I do like is that there's almost this camaraderie with other 86s. I had one pull up right behind me on the highway the other morning and sit on my ass for 3 minutes before I actually noticed it was an 86 (was dark). Then we took different exits.

The first time I did. But the car didn't want to pass me, and was weaving in and out of the lane on a dark country road.
I was probably unlucky to find "that guy"

Well, OK.

My plan B would have been to lead him into the closest roundabout and keep going around and around, increasing your speed, until he spun off into the ditch......
