My Nephew had one of those in his Eclipse. When I drove 10 hours to Colorado to paint it for him, I shamed him about it then let him drive my car. Needless to say he got rid of it and bought a short shifter for his right after!

Washed it, and for the first time since I got the car, seriously cleaned the inside.

Update on this. Running into big fuel starvation issues. One corner I can widen my exit and take 4th early which helps some. Another I just have to live with. It is better if I keep the car above 1/4 tank.

finally got my dome light built.

the old sprengboard high output light:

always bothered me that it only lit up the middle of the housing.

eyeballed the layout

soldered

pretty

just a touch brighter!

next up is the door lights, and license plate lights...

Took the longest drive so far... 2.5 hours each way to Ocean City MD and back with my wife. Mostly highway speeds but a fair amount of stop and go traffic for the final 30 minutes on the way down. The seats were pretty comfortable the whole ride. As a bonus a group of teenagers were totally in love with the car at the boardwalk parking lot and couldn't stop making comments about it.

I went paddle boarding and was swimming for a while after my friend stopped with her dog. Felt them and pulled them out. Pulled the key, tapped out the remote blew it a couple times and stuck it in my dry bag.

She pulled up next to my car and that beautiful glow came on when you approach.

Installed the Jackson Racing oil cooler. It works a little too well on the highway, but it's great on the track!
