Not trying to solve a problem at all! I've always read and been told that SS lines are a good upgrade for tracked cars. They weren't originally part of my plan for the car. I just thought since I'm going to be changing the fluid anyways, might as well change the lines since they're in the impulse purchase price range.

Same happened to me in the miata.
Blew the line in town so thankfully wasn't going to fast.
Wasn't too far from home either (mile or 2) so just drove home using the e-brake and engine to slow the car.

Limped it home. Went to the airport and got on a plane to SEMA.
After I got back I found out that the line was rubbing on the control arm.

SS enhance braking feel a bit. But not by revolutionary amount and subjective at that, so imho ss braided lines by themselves don't look to be worth of being first priority mods.

How much track "abuse" can the oem line handles? I always thought that there were a risk with oem rubber line with the heat generated on a track. Maybe not with brand new OEM, but maybe with couples years old lines.

Our OEM lines are already braided IIRC, so it's not really worth it unless the OEM lines are damaged already.

There's no more risk with an OEM line, on older cars they were just prone to slightly ballooning making the pedal a little mushier.

If looking to improve brake feel, I recommend looking at master cylinder bracing. I have a Radium on my '15 BRZ. I noticed an immediate decrease in pedal sponginess and an increase in linearity. I thought about lines, but after installing the brace abandoned the idea.

Brake pads and brake fluid are always the first units to change to track specific application. Lines are consumables and are generally inspected every pre/post track day to ensure they are running in good condition. Generally speaking, we work with our clients closely to identify those change intervals.

MCB is a generic fix that improves the feel for street driven cars. Brake pads and brake fluid make a significant change in this department...more so than the MCB. If you are interested in what to go after, please let us know. Our cars do not use any of the fancy highly marketed blings yet it is consistent with amazing feedback according to multiple drivers for our cars.

I had the stop tech on my FRS,

got em for $80 Cad, and install it on a driveway with a friend.

it doesnt really make a big difference in pedal feel. If you're installing it by yourself, its a bit of a hassle to get the nut off, it can be strip easily...but you have a brand new car while I have a 2013 driven in winter so maybe not in your case.

After 7 track day, 8 autocross event. they were all fine, no issues with em. not to mention I daily drive my car to work as well.

my set up was:
Stoptech SS Line, Stoptech STR Fluid, Hawk DTC30 F, Hawk HP+ R. Stock rotors. No Master cylinder brace
the pedal feel is really nice and progressive compared to stock (probably mostly from the brake pads/Fluids)

but if you have the money, I dont see why not if it give you a piece of mind while you're on track. everyone have a different opinion on forum.

They are. Used a 13-16 stainless steel brake line kit on my 17 performance package BRZ and bolted on with no issues.

I have bought a Goodridge kit and it doesn't fit. Sock part number of the hoses is different, so obviously this thread misleading...

It seems that Goodridge have issues with Brembos Performance Package. May anyone suggest a brand that fits these calipers without issues? Thanks!

I'm looking for lines to work with my Brembo's too. Hard to find anyone listing them, but they do confirm that the standard calipers take different lines than Brembo calipers.

I fitted HEL Performance lines, the only one that has a specific model for Brembo.
