I will know tonight what our current head count is. Will advise all as soon as I do!

btw, im using racechrono now and trying to see if an external gps is worth the investment. but ultimately i'm interested in having brake/steering input so perhaps i can check out your setup then.

It's officially too late but you can always try to beg for forgiveness?

I am not officially controlling the pricing so you'd have to email them asking about it (as per the original post).

Depends how serious you are about your times, the phone has a +/- 1s accuracy.

Lap timing relies on gps frequency. I believe phones are 1Hz where as external varies from 5Hz to 20Hz? My daq is limited to gps satellites only but I set it to 20Hz. I have 1 prototype that is set to 50Hz. I'll lending that away to somebody during track days. I've never had issues with 20Hz but I do get the occasional blackouts. Maybe gps+glonass will help.

If you aren't too much in a hurry, I should be doing a limited run for my daq later on. It should have most of what hpde enthusiasts need without forking for an aim dl.

Correct. Most phones are 1Hz.

I use an external GPS receiver (QStarz) to get 10Hz to my RaceChrono.

20Hz is EVEN better - you should be able to get very good resolution on where you are on the track.

Hey guys! Less than a week to go before this event.

I've heard a few complaints from several people (@mabviper) that they have paid the Mustang Club but never got confirmation.

If that's the case, please PM me and I will help you get it sorted out.

No one will get turned away from the track if you have paid, I can promise you that. We apologize for this mess as PADA is not handling the registration - only the track management but nonetheless want everyone to have a good time and get their money's worth.

Cheers.

Kev

Myself and two other friends have the same issue. Registered paid the 85bucks thru interac, which was accepted. But, we weren't given any confirmation of our registration via email or otherwise....
