Luxeon Fog lights wiring
Can Fog lights be wired to where the DRLS where wired before?

Voltage is not the issue, it is ability to provide enough amperage. You could always us the DRLS circuit to switch a relay. Have the fogs on their own circuit direct to battery or any other circuit with the ability to provide enough. Although this would make your fog lights operate like DRL.

The answer is yes, I believe. The 13 brz I have came factory with fogs and horizontal drl. Plus the boomerang drl. I swapped the drl and fog light pins on the connector so that my car thinks the drl is on, but really the fog is on, and vice versa. Th hunt made a video forever ago, and I did exactly what the video says. The thumbnail says "dealerships hate this hack" or something. I did this so i can run the boomerangs with the fogs at the same time. This may not be exactly what you're trying to accomish, but it stands to show that my fogs are powered by the drl wire. And they're stupid bright bajadesigns fogs, not junk.
