Except that these are not a rare error that slipped through the system they were deliberately painted like that for whatever reason they saw fit.

There isn't a chance in hell a Japanese consumer would accept this from a Japanese dealer. Consumers there check for excess grease on door hinges- something like this would never be acceptable there.

So why do they think it's ok here?
