You also put your name in a bucket up in WA,
and here I was thinking it can't be done since the
Subaru system will boot you out with 2 orders
under the same name.

For me driving from San Francisco to San Jose to
pick up a car is far, but if your willing to go the distance(literally)
then I guess you deserve to bring it home.

last word, those who are getting their cars in the coming week
pre-ordered on Day 1, so I expect at least July or so till I get
any ETA since I am #24.

Well, my order in Washington is picking up an abandoned pre-order, so I don't know if it shows up in the system under my name, I think it's still on wait list under the original guys name. I could be wrong, though. Since I don't know when that car is coming in, I'm definitely keeping my name on the list at Stevens Creek, if I'm only a couple spots behind you on the list, maybe July will be my ETA as well.

I am #2 at Stevens Creek and my ETA is 5/29
I might stop by tomorrow to see if the first batch is already in or not.
I also need to confirm that they won't drill front plate holes.
It is getting so close

Also my associate confirmed I shouldn't have more than Seven miles on the car before the test drive. That's very good to hear so this will really be like raising a new born kid. Lol

Pah. For my last car, I flew about 350 miles to buy it, and then drove it back the same day. 45 to 50 miles from SF to SJ is nothing.

I was number 10 and they put me in the back of the line from switching from DGM to GBS...

Spoke to the guys at Capitol Subaru back when they had their white demo car. Great sales people. Almost pre- ordered from them but I wanted the FR- S more. Slowly starting to regret not doing it.. Had a way better experience there than at scion dealerships.

I ordered a WB limited MT. It will be nice to see different colors next to each other. I suspect they will do their best to get the sales for May.
They told be they had 7 coming in on 5/29

Why can't May be over already!? When June comes, So many new owners with cars will be out on the road. Hopefully you guys stop by at meets & see me at the first show- Blox OpenHouse. Planning some great mods with the right support, starting with suspension first.

Nice. I'll be at the blox OH as well in my FRS. My car is gonna be at a booth though. I'm currently planning some mods as well. Suspension and wheels to start, not sure I'll have them before the show or not. My car is currently on a boat still. Should be here any day now.

Wen you guys get your cars from Stevens Creek Subaru I'll be curious to see what your interactions are like. The dealer I talked to there when they had the silver demo car was a total ass.

Also I've heard great things about Capitol Subaru. I wish Capitol Scion was as good. I stopped by in march to place a deposit and the dude never called me back. He didn't even want to help me. I ended up going elsewhere.

I just picked up my BRZ from Stevens Creek (ETA was 5/29).
these are my first impressions.(pictures to follow)
Love the seating position.
Love the visibility
Love the MT and how it slips into gear
Steering wheel feel is great, but slightly thicker wheels would have been perfect
Everyone talks about the engine sound, but it is not there. It sound decent, but there is no note
Love the WR blue. I was getting nerveous about my choice, but now I am sure it is the right color for me
There is no feeling driving it in a stright line, but in HWY 9 it came alive.
Most importantly, I put two car seats it the back and they fit just fine. My 5 and 7 year old were begging for more leg room. It is okay for around town, but long trips even kids will not be able to stand it.
It is going to be parked in the garage for a week until I get back from my trip. I will write more then.
No regerets so far :happy0180:
