You might want to check your state. A lot of them are going to this stage when they add 55+. Alabama is using a BMI of 30.

Looks like Oregon is opening up to that stage on 4/19

My BMI is high but I am pretty far from obese. My parents really want it but don't qualify till the last stage since they are both healthy. Kinda F'd up

I’ll be honest, if I lived close enough to actual San Francisco I think I’d qualify to get it because they lowered the BMI to 30 IIRC, and I’m a bit above that (yes I need to work on that). Still have some waiting to do here though.

Take any shot that keeps you out of the hospital. Apparently there's a therapeutic treatment shown for the rare neural embolism occurrence if there are signs reported.

Blod clot, that's just a derogatory term used by Jamaicans while they suck through their teeth.

As an aside, I'm glad prince Phillip is feeling better!

I get why BMI exists and why it is used, but it is only loosely accurate for most people in a certain age group.

Body composition is more important than just height and weight.

According to BMI, he is obese.

Sorry. Ranting.

My stepdad is getting his shot in a week. My mom is fully vaccinated. My dad survived a week of COVID and said he was pretty sick, but didn't need hospitalization. My wife gets her second one next week too. I think we will finally be able to visit in April.

First, I signed up answering the questions manly and hard and all that.
Then I had to admit to myself that I'm old and fat.

Gave me a pass straight away.
Got the second shot two weeks ago and am thinking of scheduling a haircut finally.
Like wearing a wool hat all year. Don't envy those hair shirt masochists at all.

Groups got moved up quick here too because there are just a lot of people either not getting it, or waiting. Appointments are not being booked to capacity. Unfortunately I just finished a week of prednisone for a rash, so I'm going to wait a few weeks more.

Yea, we have people from Atlanta travelling to South Georgia to get shots because they can get appointments easily there vs in Atlanta Metro where the supply can't keep up with demand.
