I have decided that I am getting a Jackson Racing super charger on my BRZ. As the title shows I'm not quite the expert in superchargers; I have many questions that need be answered, so if you can bypass my stupidity in the matter and enlighten me that would me most appreciated. This is my first supercharging application so bare with me please . I'm looking for a ~300hp result with a reliable setup. That said I do however appreciate torque more than hp.

1) Elaborate on the meaning of C30/C38

2) Since prices are practically identical what is the main difference between the two options offered, and what would you choose in my place, and why.

3) I know it says 50% hp increase and 45% torque increase, but I see many speaking of engine builds exceeding 600 hp. What in an engine do they focus on to get those gains. This is a huge topic on its own so details could be spared for the answers sake, but will still be appreciated.

4) These two supercharger options increase the same hp and torque. I have read that the c38 would be a better implication on a built engine, why is that?

Thank you for any time spent answering this!

Look at the Forced Induction section. That will give you all of the info you need. Also look at the Jackson Racing owner's thread.
