I am maybe a bit over 20 lbs too heavy on those charts yet I am fit as a fiddle, wont get into the deatils. Suffice it to say they dont consider diffefent body types and many peoe afe very fit and well out of those boundaries.

The only thing that studies have found that all long lived people have in common is that they have never been obese.
This^^ 100% this^^^
Being fit does not depend upon fitting within a certain set of measurements. People come in different shapes and sizes.

You have heard it many times before. After you retire you gotta stay active, brisk walks, bike, exercise, and watch what you eat. Yeah, you can still drink beer but not a 6 pack a day.

Join a fitness club and workout at least 2 or 3 times a week. Most medicare plans have a program called Silver Sneakers which pays your membership fee.
Three years ago I started swimming. Typical week is 5 days, 1100-1500 yards per work out. Nick name at the pool is "the machine". Gave up Dairy Queen but not beer.

Pants that were tight under beer belly are now loose over it. Had to punch new holes in belt.

Sports Illustrated swimsuit models and what is left of playboy bunnies pursue me relentlessly , especially In my exotic BRZ.

Wife still thinks I am A-ok even with my delusions of grandeur.

Life is good.

.. You young guys that are giggling.. Your time will come.

Turned 61 in December. There is an old car story buried in this thread - crappy Chevy nova.

Fave old story is learning to drive at 12 in my grandfather' s 41 Plymouth that someone converted into a pickup. 3 on the three and a wonderful old car smell. Drove that thing all over his pasture land that summer. The old rusted hulk is part of the farm's boneyard in the tree line. Saw it a few years ago. Sniff!

That's my story. I actually have taken a picture of all the cars I've ever owned at one point in time, but most are lost in shoeboxes somewhere and I'm too lazy to find them or one of my sisters took off with them when we were going through our parent's things after they passed away.

I strongly believe that most of my pictures ended up with my sisters as well although they deny having any.
The funny part is that the last pic there is actually my car (the Nomad) and I took about a 100 pics of it during the strip down and restore but that wedding pic is the only one that seems to be still around.
