Silver 2015 in SoCal

Just bought a 2015 Silver Premium in SoCal.

Previously owned a couple of E30 BMW's, a Alfa GTV6, Alfa Spider, original VW Scirocco and a couple of Saab's.

Been out of sports cars for a few years now, but happy to be back in a fun car.

Late reply, doing a stint in the hospital. On road to full recovery and standing tall to get a brand new 2016 BRZ / white / Limited in late October or early Nov.

It seems the 2016 BRZs have a lower MSRP?

Going 18x8.5 gold wheels all around and Borland cat back exhaust, and then, drive, drive , and drive!

Sorry to hear about the health issues, wish you a speedy recovery!
My post was incorrect.
All 2016 BRZ's will receive the same 6.2" Starlink head unit that will NOT have NAV.
They will all however have a rear backup camera now.

Greetings

Hello everyone!

I just switched from the world of VW/Audi to a BRZ. I wanted something small and RWD in addition to getting really pissed at my 2015 Golf TDI 6spd. I traded it in the day before the Dieselgate TDI emissions code-scam thing came out - just in time I guess!

I'm in IT Cloud Security, but used to work for a European shop rebuilding VW, Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Volvo, Jaguar and Land Rover engines. I have lots of experience "doing-it-myself", and am looking forward to a simpler platform free of pita electronic nannies and excessive can-bus integration.

This is my first RWD vehicle as well as my first NA vehicle - it's been fun so far, I love swinging the tail out!

Previous cars:
2001 Audi A6 Quattro 6spd - stg 1
2003 VW GTI 1.8t 5spd - gt28rs - Eibach Pro
2003 Audi TT 225 Quattro 6spd - stg 2 - ST coilovers
2007 VW GTI 6spd - stg 2 - Ksports
2009 VW Jetta TDI 6spd - Ksports
2012 VW GTI 6spd - stg 2 - Ksports
2015 VW Golf TDI 6spd - VWR springs - Porsche Brembos

Hey guys! Just got a 2013 supercharged BRZ Limited with 6100 miles! Absolute blast to drive. Not too familiar with superchargers but I'm really excited for this car. Got rid of my 2013 Mazdaspeed3. Wasn't ready to get rid of my speed but couldn't pass up! Name: uploadfromtaptalk1443229737376.jpg

on 2016!

Nothing too exciting yet. Got some tint and some clear side markers as well as the Invidia N1 exhaust installed currently. Also have some bronze 18 x 8.75 XXR 527 that just got delivered last week. I'll keep you guys updated with some pictures once I get those put on.

Looking forward for those PICS with those 18x8.75 wheels, I plan on going the same route!

Hello Everyone. I'm Robbi from Florida.

Traded in my 2014 hatchback WRX for a 2015 BRZ and couldn't be happier with the switch.

Been looking for a fun car for a while so I could get back to doing some autocrossing after a several year hiatus. Was focusing on a used Miata or S2000 but was put off by the typical used car condition or over-inflated price. Drove a BRZ at a local dealer and loved the driving ergonomics but none of the local dealers would come down much on price. Emailed Livermore Subaru and they came back with a price good enough to justify the 90 mile drive.

Picture in front of the dealer, after I was the crazy guy applying blue painters tape to hopefully protect it on the way home, and then finally in it's new home in my garage.

Getting xpel film applied this Friday. After witnessing the fragile paint on my last fun car (2008 STI) I decided that would for sure be my first mod.

2013 Subaru BRZ Limited

Hello everyone!

Two weeks ago I purchased a 2013 Subaru BRZ Limited that came with tons of goodies already installed by the previous owner. I always wanted to go the "built not bought" route, but the deal was too good to pass up and I was really digging every mod that was made:

21,100 Miles
Work Wheels Emotion CR Kai 17x9 +43
Work Wheels Lug Nuts
Kumho Ecsta AST 235/45R17
Tom's Tail lights
Perrin Catback Exhaust (Un-resonated)
TRD Spoiler
Eibach Performance Springs
"Shark Fin" Antenna
Perrin Shift Knob
Window Tint

Next mods I'm thinking about are Valenti 4th Brake light (not sure which color will match the Tom's the best yet) and a OEM Audio Plus Reference system.

Other than that, I am extremely happy to be a part of the FT86 community and I am looking forward to the many adventures behind my BRZ!

Hello everyone,

I've been a fan of Japanese low-powered well-balanced sports cars for my entire life. I've been lurking this forum ever since the FR-S/BRZ was announced and decided to finally make an account since I'm planning to buy one of the twins in the upcoming year since my living conditions now require a car. I'm pretty much waiting for more information on the MY17 model before I do anything.

I prefer the BRZ over the FR-S due to the stock HID headlights and just because I dislike the whole "Scion" marketing gimmick. I'm definitely not against it or hate it though, but it's just another small detail that makes me prefer the BRZ.

Owner of a '13 BRZ Limited with the one-year-only Galaxy Blue Silica. Purchased April 2014, but just started posting on this site. Year-round driver with Blizzaks in the winter. Such a blast to drive. My second RWD sports car, after an '86 911. Autocrossed at Lime Rock Park in CT, Spring of 2015. Keeping it stock but will upgrade tires and brakes as needed for street/autocross performance. Wanted to say hello.
