Advics is the company that makes the GR brake kit, I wonder if this is the same piece just without the logo.

Race cars are so damn cool

It is my understanding that water coolers are more efficient. You also eliminate the thermostatic sandwich.

Currently the car oil already is cooled by rad water, via a "forester" sandwich plate. This new water to oil cooler seems to also have the rad water pass thru it (unless i am mistaken), which just adds to the heat load on the rad, and begs the question whether this is that much more effective then the stock water to oil.

And if it is, i am so getting it. Cos i lazy to put another air to oil heat exchanger in front of the rad.

It would be interesting to see their water/oil temps with ambient temps.

It sure looks like there's a lot more surface area and coolant flow for heat exchange in that box than there is in the factor oil/coolant heat exchanger sandwich.
