Yes, something along those lines. A glossy CF maybe? I liked the real CF roof on my M6:

There aren't any gloss carbon fibers available on the market yet, but i know that Arlon Automotive is working on releasing one. I also think that Hexis might have one soon as well.

Lx-mode made 3 pieces of gloss carbon roof. Its much better look than wrap. You can opti coat or wax it. And three pieces can package into one small box for saving shipping cost. I hope that someone should make them for cheaper price. I am saving money for this to replace my 3M 1080 carbon roof wrap.

lets see... the real roof is around $1800.
id say that kit is in the range of $250-600.
but WHY!!!!!!! if your gonna put real carbon dont stick it on top of the part for looks. your just adding weight to the roof(not much, but its pointless weight. just buy the real thing and replace the part. id also hate to think that someone could just throw some goo gone in the cracks and floss it for a bit with fishing line and bye bye carbon panels. id rather go with a vinyl wrap. it looks nice and has a purpose. also cheaper.

The cheapest I found was about 950 USD. NOT include international shipping fee. http://www.imcshop.com/86/exterior/1190280031.htm

I wouldnt mind to add extra weight on my 86 since my car is not going to be a race car. Besides, I can always lose 3Kg weight in one week if needed.

Since you're going so deep into repairs on your car, why didn't you just do what @h4nh did with his roof and replace it entirely?

I would not recommend this roof.. I started to see some fade spots from the resin. I even had it clear coated and no difference.

I would either go with the dry carbon or just stay away from Seibon. Quality is garbage.
