I have my money lined up and everything ready for 2016, still hoping it'll have something over the 2015 that justifies me waiting so long.

Comes with special edition lug nuts. They're suppose to be half the weight of the previous years.

"sport-tech" is the canadian name for the limited. it's exactly the same.

Basically no. Maybe 2017 is when they will make some changes...but it won't be to the engine.

As many on here have said, just buy now and enjoy the car. If you wait for what "might" be included in the next model year you'll never get the car. Having said that...I'm waiting for the 2016 as well. Mainly because I've waited this long what's a couple more months? And I just want a 2016...*shrugs*

How long till car companies usually change out the engine for the car?
I'm hoping that during the next generation, they don't change anything drastically. I hope this current FA engine will be here for a while.

I will say that as far as the FRS goes it appears this may be the first year without some sort of special edition: first FRS, series 10, monogram, RS 1.0. So there may still be something else later this year but I doubt it.

If I were in the market I would just buy the cheapest used version with the options I wanted and the lowest miles. Nothing radically significant has changed throughout the years.

My local deal said he would offer $1000 off invoice on a 2015. Since the 2016 looks the exact same, I might just pull the trigger. $24309 + ttl for a BRZ premium.

does that sound like a good deal?

yes, I have been looking at car max and I am seeing 2013 limiteds w/ around 8-15k miles for same price. so I think what he is offering isn't bad. id still try to get him to go 24k flat and sell the idea that the 2016 is so much better and make them want to get rid of it for 24 even. killer deal.
