Yesterday's best run, now in STX trim. Just RCE Superstreet-1's, 6k springs front and rear, RLCAs, camber bolts, -4/2.2 for camber, 1/6" toe in the rear. Apex ARC-9 wheels 17x9, 245/40/17 A052's. No power mods.

Definitely relearning the car after driving the last 4 years in DS. I did end up 26/119 in PAX. I was expecting a little better, but the A052's still had the mold release on them. They're now scrubbed in though!

Edited. That's the second time I've typed 'toe out' here. It's 1/16" toe in for stability, per RCE's recommendations.

I used to toe out the front of my WRX 1/8", so that's probably where it keeps coming from lol.

Have you thought about running 255/40 tires? I do on my 17+ to get back some of the lost speed at the top of second because of the 4.3 rear gears.

Yes, I'll likely be going that route. First time setting the car up on 245's with coilovers and wanted to make sure everything fit and how much clearance I had all around.

The extra mph would certainly help at our local SCCA site. I was bouncing off the the limiter in DS trim many places.

Yeah, with your alignment and wheel choice, if you move to 255's you'll probably get a very tiny amount of rubbing on the tab for the rear bumper cover, but that should be it.
There is a chance for a very small amount of rub on the inside at full steering lock in the front.
I'm running the same wheels as you, alignment is:
F: -4.3 camber, 0 toe, 7.2 caster
R: -2.1 camber, 0 toe

This past weekend's best runs. Saturday was an SCCA event, Sunday was non-SCCA group. I tend to have better luck at the lot with hills for some reason. First two events in STX trim (coilovers, RLCAs, wheels/tires) that the car was actually working correctly. I was probably getting up to speed with the car Saturday. I definitely overcooked it a bit into the back corner on this run. Should have been tighter to the cones as I did in the morning - came in too hot. Sunday's run seemed to be pretty good overall. Could have pushed more here and there, but overall happy with that one. 19/120 in PAX.

Ran the car 4 years in DS trim with 225's and a swaybar. In STX, the inputs needed feel much quicker. It's fun, but challenging. No power mods yet, so still dealing with the torque dip.
