Similar happened to mine. The clips just ripped more of the plastic off so now there is even less. I just bit the bullet and went the quick-release route. The color match isn't too bad though. You can see them in this pic.

UPDATE: I decided to give this one more go. I took the bumper off and bought two more of those metal pieces. I glued those metal pieces (using GOOP Automotive Adhesive) to the bumper and also taped them for good measure. ie. I have two of these metal pieces on each side of the bumper, closest to the headlight.

I reassembled everything, and popped these things into the bumper brackets last. Put about 200 miles of street driving and one track day, and so far so good - touch wood!

Can someone clarify how many of these do I need? 2 or 4?

The instructions in the first post say quantity 4, but it looks like people are just doing the very front clip on each side of the bumper?

Also, what is the "dual glue" that is being suggested to attach these to the bumper?

I see macuser27 suggested using GOOP and some others have used E6000 230022 Industrial/Automotive glue.

Hi there,

In my personal experience, using two (one on each side) and no glue did not cut it. With four (two on each side) and using GOOP, my bumper is still attached correctly, with no sag, after 1,000 miles and 3 track days.

Your experience may vary.

Cheers.
