By the way, what products do you use to clean and wax your car? The shine looks outstanding.
Thanks a lot dude. I keep it simple. Weekly wash with Meguiars Gold Class shampoo and new this year I'm using Griot's 3 in 1 Ceramic Spray Wax and have been happy with the results. 2 coats, applied a week apart back in March and it's held up great so far.

Spray waxes have gotten so decent that I can make it through Chicago winters while still having protection and they take almost no time to apply.

^ It's great wax IMO, but man it's a pain in the ass to get off the surface (particularly the hood) in my experience. But maybe that's why it lasts so long. Stuff does not seem to thin out much at all wash after wash lol

If you're having issues like that buffing it off, you're applying it way too heavy.

In the case of the Griots pictured above, or most spray sealants these days, it only takes a small amount, maybe 3~4 sprays, to do the entire hood. Also the SiO2 in many of them these days makes them more prone to streaking if you have it on too heavy.

Applying it in direct sun on a hot panel can lead to removal issues too.

I'll try applying it more lightly, but it just seemingly loves to streak on the hood. The other panels aren't too bad, just a bit more wiping vs a traditional wax.

First 300V fill. Those cans are definitely annoying to work with compared to the standard plastic jugs.

I installed my STI start button from my 20. I also installed my flexible v-bars. While I had the dsh apart I went ahead and removed the engine speaker that was right there.

I also found a quick and easy way to unplug the active sound control(engine noise speaker computer). Open the passenger door, remove the side panel and the plug for the unit is right there. I was able to get a couple of fingers in there and dialed the plug. See the attached photos.
How difficult was installation of flexible v-bars? I am looking to get those as well. Also how was the difference in experience after installing them?

Installation is very easy. All you have to do is open the hood.

It softens the front up a bit on one sided road imperfections, but does not sacrifice cornering stiffness.

I think it made a bigger difference on the first gen because of the stiffer chassis on the 2nd gen.

Drove it

Drove it like I stole it for 2 hours in extremely twisty roads.

Damn those look great!

Is the wiring all there already or did you have to wire yourself? Do they come with an oem interior switch?
