Red death was in the loot table a month or two after launch, I remember seeing it and passing based on reviews at the time

It's funny how things change with time. I remember that exact sentiment back in the beginning, now with the Pulse Rifle buff and the health regen perk it's become the weapon to have for HM Crota or Crucible.

Xur has Hard Light for sale. Decided to pick it up since it looks pretty cool and I used to be a AR guy, just worried that with all the AR nerfs that it won't end up being all that great.

I did reach rank 1.5 in IB last night and that was playing about 6-7 games, was actually pretty surprised how quick it was going up but maybe cause I was playing on a winning team just about every match? Seriously thinking about playing it some more this weekend, if I hit rank 4 I can pick up Jolder's Hammer.
@f0rge, not to go off topic but what do you think of GTA V? Whatsup was trying to talk me into getting it last night.

Hard light is a fun gun, and sounds really cool. I haven't upgraded it enough to get the higher level perks, but they could be interesting. I don't think I'll ever use it for a NF or raid, but patrols etc it's pretty cool.

I actually have so many weapons to upgrade right now, not even sure I'll use it much at this point especially since exotics are so slow to upgrade. It does look and sound cool though.

Stellar. The single player campaign alone is worth playing that game. Online is icing on the cake and incredibly fun. It's quasi-MMO like destiny.

Just don't let the GF's kid watch you play, tons of n-bombs, f-bombs, drug use, alcohol abuse, murder, strippers, gang violence, killing cops, etc. One of those games that actually deserves the M rating.

I originally played it on X360 and bought another full priced copy so I could keep playing it on Xbone

Same here, I have a 300dmg Hardlight that I never even upgraded, there's basically zero chance I'll upgrade the 331dmg one.

GTA V has a better plot than 80% of the movies that have come out in recent years. Even better screenplay as well.

Okay, I'll probably pick it up today then. Whatsup said it was his favorite game last night. Good idea on the GF and kid, she'd probably freak out if she saw/heard that stuff. She's a pretty straight laced type of person.

I actually had to change my settings in Destiny so that the party/fireteam chat would only come through my headphones. One day a long time ago she walked in when I was playing and f-bombs were getting dropped like it was going out of style, she wasn't very amused. lol

lmfao i had this experience last night. whatsup and his boys helped me thru the nightfall as part of the bad juju quest. between bad juju and red death i doubt i will ever get around to levling up the hard light but i will probably pick it up just to have haha
