I'm figuratively banging a very loud drum to keep this moving forward. It IS happening, but damn it the timing for this has been less than ideal. So many competing factors with supply chain issues, production backlogs, the new car, and so on.

Reminder, we've got our specs and have been waiting for the final physical prototype from Eibach so that we can move forward with production. I don't have an ETA, but I keep bugging them and will update you all when I can. I want these for my own car pretty badly. ASAP.

I will buy Andrew. I will, I will, I will!

I'm lowkey trying to sell the car. At the same time, these springs might be a hoot, especially if they're oversteer happy like the 2013 FRS but with a bit more bump travel. Add in long travel suspension and I'll have a boner.

Hurts me so so much to say this y'all, but this project is on hold.

With 2 prototypes that didn't meet our specs, Eibach is just unwilling to give it another try. The prototypes are very expensive and time consuming for us and them, plus all sorts of backlogs, staffing, and supply issues compounding everything (not on our end).

I wouldn't say our rally project is canceled, but it is on indefinite hold. If you're looking for a lift spring, I'd consider those Chuhatsu springs even if they're a little soft. I do hope to have something really cool for everyone...eventually...but those are still just ideas.

Beyond bummed on this one. I will keep looking for alternatives on the springs, but definitely can't promise anything.

I'm slightly curious, how exactly they didn't meet your specs? They weren't of spring rates you ordered them to be made, or by realworld testing car handling with chosen spring rates wasn't what you liked?

The ride height was not what we wanted. Both prototypes ended up barely stock height in front and a little taller in the rear (uenven). We wanted +15mm front and rear. Spring rates were good and real world testing was encouraging.

That’s a bummer. Was Eibach the only company you were having do any of the manufacturing?

Are there not available springs out there that can fit the bill? How many sizes can there be?
