FOUR years is a long time to wait for a trial! I think the idea of a timely trial is out the window now.

Special consideration must also be made for an uncontrollable event. It wouldn't look good if normally convicted cases are dismissed in large numbers as a result of this worldwide "extenuating circumstance". Justice will then not have been served and would draw huge criticism of law enforcement and the justice system.
