I am in the opposite situation as you. I am in Florida for a couple months. The roads here are great for getting from point A to point B. They suck for driving enjoyment. Straight, crowded and lots of traffic lights. I can sort of understand all the whining about the twins needing more horsepower if you live in an area like this. The only fun you can have is mashing the go pedal. Anyone that lives in a place like this has never really gotten to experience the twin they own unless they have driven somewhere else or taken it to a track.
Gonna take a trip to the dragons tail on way back on Friday. I am told people come from all over to drive it. Trip with my car already planned for next summer.

Ya with a rented base model corolla. Bit anticlimactic to say the least. But will be back next vacation time with my car!

I was in Fort Mac, AB a couple weeks ago for work. Saw a bunch of FRS, GTR, Corvettes, and other expensive cars. Then I wonder why anyone would drive something like that there? The roads were pretty rough even in the rental Camry. Everyone else was driving F-350's.

I drove down south to drive the tail of the dragon this spring with my FR-S. It's well worth the drive and Hotel costs. Give yourself a couple of days to drive all the roads in the triangle...

Guys making bank out at the patch. I guess not everyone wants a lifted Dodge pickup out there.

Or maybe it's the folks working at the Timmies earning nearly $20/hour haha.

OK so drove the Tail of the Dragon in the rental, in the rain, with 4 people in the car and a 53 Chevy in front of me!
Needless to say it wasn't fast but still a blast!!!!!!
For a place I had never heard about a week ago it has shot to the top of my To Do (properly) list.
For those others that have never heard of it (I hope I am not the only guy) check it out here - http://tailofthedragon.com/dragon.html
Back next year with MY car for sure.
