I was in Fort Mac, AB a couple weeks ago for work. Saw a bunch of FRS, GTR, Corvettes, and other expensive cars. Then I wonder why anyone would drive something like that there? The roads were pretty rough even in the rental Camry. Everyone else was driving F-350's.

I drove down south to drive the tail of the dragon this spring with my FR-S. It's well worth the drive and Hotel costs. Give yourself a couple of days to drive all the roads in the triangle...

OK so drove the Tail of the Dragon in the rental, in the rain, with 4 people in the car and a 53 Chevy in front of me!
Needless to say it wasn't fast but still a blast!!!!!! For a place I had never heard about a week ago it has shot to the top of my To Do (properly) list. For those others that have never heard of it (I hope I am not the only guy) check it out here - http://tailofthedragon.com/dragon.html Back next year with MY car for sure. |
