Our DM printed and painted this dragon. My wife and I did the left 2 figures, but hers doesn't show up well in this pic.

Substitute the horse with four elephants standing on a turtle for the disk to rest on.
Then all will be right with the multiverse.

I grew up around model trains and going to train shows, to me the well weathered ones that were accurate to real life were far more interesting than the shiny new out of the box ones. Art deco stream liners excluded, as they were designed to be flashy and shiny.

If given more time, hopefully the judges would have elaborated on why the 'weathered' paint work was seen as less desirable... especially since it takes a lot more time, skill, and energy to achieve a well done weathered finish.

OK it happened again!
While looking for a picture of a CF-104 in the 1977 Tiger Match scheme (a military air competition in Germany) for a modeling forum discussion I came across this:

Description English: From Canadian Forces Base Baden-Soellingen (RCAF Station Baden-Söllingen), this CF-104 in Tiger Paint Scheme was getting a quick turnaround at Lahr's South Marg. Date 1977

The picture isn't dated beyond "1977" but there is a 99% probability that I was the guy putting that fuel in! I fueled that aircraft twice and not sure if any of the other guys did so I knocked off 1% for the element of doubt.

I don't remember what the cause of the puddle was. I doubt it is water though.
