It might be the issue with RS1.0 cars where you had to have a VIN to order a part for those special editions.

Why don't you call them and ask if you can order it?

I don't have enough faith in my local Subi/Toyota parts departments to answer a complicated question like this.

Has anyone installed this on the 2016 Brz? I know that the 2016 headunit is shaped slightly different.
