This was a couple days ago and wasn't sure whether or not to expect any notification of shipping. I leave town a lot for work so I hate having packages sit at my door for days.

Just ordered mine this evening and only have a confirmation, no tracking number. I expect that my OFT has not been shipped yet. You can always email Vishnu Performance Systems and inquire. Shiv responded to my query, a page or two back, that there are some in stock.

Don't worry, with Vishnu you get a notification as soon as they create your waybill. Just relax!

You can download it yourself at www.openflashtablet.com
Which is why I asked if there is any chance of an optimized stock tune.

What are you trying to ask? A stock tune is just that, one that came off the car from the factory. If by optimized you mean one for a totally stock car, then you need a Stage 1 tune. That is a tune optimized for a 100% stock car but is perfectly good for minor exhaust mods and/or a drop in filter and snorkel mod too.

Which is also available on the same website. You'll use the Stage 1 tune like @Luckrider mentioned.

Correct. Firmware updates automatically when you connect the OFT to your laptop and run OpenFlash Manager. There is no file or anything that the customer needs to do manually other than update a Template file when needed.
