If she's wife material, don't be divorce material; show her that you'll be around for the long term and "dates" won't be needed.
these days .....

It's OK. Asking for relationship advice on a car forum is like asking Dr. Phil about down pipes. Who knows what you're gonna get?

I disagree.

This car forum would be a good place to ask for relationship advice, one would just have to ask the spouses of mrs @Ultramaroon ; mrs @Tcoat ; mrs @Sapphireho , mrs humfrz , for a few examples, of how they have put up with their jerk husbands for soo many years -

Exactly what I was thinking when writing that post except for the "jerk" part. I'd say "hilarious" instead. That includes you, tosser.

Oh, I had to look up "tosser".

NO, I AM NOT A TOSSER!

It takes too long to whip that little monkey up, and I lose interest -

so who's going to send him that letter?

i would love to see dr phil go on and on about relationship advice and then suddenly in the middle, go off on a spectacular tangent about the differences in el and uel designs and how header tube length alters the scavenging effect.

It's a numbers game, kind of like Russian roulette.

i'm 3-for-3 for dating a girl, it not working out, and then she marries the next person she goes out with.

so i've got no advice.

i think they realize that things could be worse.

I think you in particular should give all the advice you can, so OP knows to do the exact opposite.
