Still a very impressive result for both young Mclaren drivers.

Lots of races to go but... could Red bull win every race this season? Seems likely at this point. Only 1 more for most consecutive wins.

As far as Lance causing a collision I disagree with Karun's (and the stewards) interpretation of what happened when. To my eyes I saw what Lance saw, an open door. However Gasly shut it while Stroll was mostly beside him and was forced off. But that's just me.
It looked to me like Gasly lifted off the brake when Stroll got next to him and ran himself wide forcing Stroll off. Here is a good view.

Williams had a good showing through the weekend too. Nice to see them do well. I was really excited for Lando.

After all the rumours RIC is back, now if only Alpha Tauri can up their show a bit…

I feel DeVries did not get much of a chance in a car that underperforms this year and are last in the Constructors championship..

As happy as I am to see DR back, De Vries has had a rough go in a crappy car. His average quali position and finishing positions are not really that far off Tsunoda I think what is hurting De Vries the most is Lawson will probably be ready to move up from the junior program next year so why keep him in the car if DR can do better and maybe get them off the bottom of the constructor standings.

Dan is so much fun to see just fooling around, but he is just on loan from RB to AT
till seasons end and then he is back at RB drinking office coffee… Hope some sparks fly for him.

Anyone see the Livery his old team will have for later this season, Check it out : the Gulf colors.
Those colors always looked good on any car.

Piastry to me was a little shit to have bypassed Alpine and go to a McLaren ride last year but I now understand his logic after watching Alpine just missing the big game again,
Mclaren was a little slow till the last race and I think that gave PIA a chance to get confident to race once the car was up to stuff.
He has been vindicated for my negative bias. Gave an aggressive defence on Perez.

I had some hope Lulu was going to pull off a great race and some quality challenge to MAX but that did not last a half a lap!

Ferrari will be loosing Charlie after messing with his chances time and time again.

Aston Martin going backwards from their great start of the season.

Nice to see PER on a passing mission again. Driver of the day.

Feel bad for Zho & Yuky loosing so many positions early in the race.

RIC did fine for his return race after having his 1st lap incident..

“Ya baby” , “Ill wait till Max retires to get a win..”– Lando

I like the stadium seats they had in the stands, beats the hard bench we have in MTL.

Welcome back to the F1 season part 2 - that was quite the long break.

RIC goes to the hospital after he followed Piastry into the barriers in Practice 2 today..

May have damaged his wrists holding on to the wheel at impact.

Will we see Nyck de Vries back in his seat for the weekend or Liam Lawson?

--

Just on F1i.com - saw that Liam gets promoted for the weekend, good luck to him, take care RIC

I watched the on-board video and he was committed to that turn on corner entry. However, I think he locked up upon seeing the McLaren nose first into the barriers. I do not think he saw the yellow.

If you have not watched the Zandvoort race yet you are in for a treat, action non stop from beginning to end thanks a lot to the ever changing weather and different strategies.

So the MAX show continues…
As the commentators mentioned someone should sell ORANGE raincoats for this event.

Nice to see ALO show his race skills.

ALB shined in his Williams.

LAW made it to the end and was not last, he only had 18 Minutes on track Saturday. Respect.

There is always a good show of appreciation from GAS when he makes it to the podium.

Ferrari was what we come to expect from them, failed to support LEC.
They still don’t realise when a car comes in to the pits it may require tires?

The shots of SAR just sitting in the rain and not trying to return to the pits was telling on his disappointment after finally making Quali.

RUS: “I was forecast for a podium? F**k, how did we mess this up?”

Interesting stat : For Sundays race 45,000 attendees came by bicycle.
I bike to the MTl islands used in F1 from my place easy but I could not imagine going to the race by bike that day,
the Islands have non friendly traffic on non race weekends and there is no infrastructure for secured bike parking.
They only have a few Bixi (city bike rental) racks.
