How was your testing experience in Idaho? What type of covid test did you have, and how long did it take you to get the results?

Just curious, maybe there are others on this forum in your state that don't know where to go to get tested.

Polite way of calling out a coworker for lying that I'm still probably going to get shit for tomorrow, but at least I included screenshots to back it up. Name obviously changed:

as i've been explaining to some of my younger co-workers lately that don't seem to understand how their screwups affect everything else...

"you work under me. because of that, if you screw up, i get the blame. or i can tell the boss you screwed up, and then we both get the blame. either way, i lose."

I was at West Valley medical center in Caldwell for an ultrasound for an unrelated problem. I'd had cold like symptoms for about 9 days, so I said what the hell, while I'm here I'll get tested. Testing was at the urgent care clinic across the street. I was the only patient in the clinic at the time.

They said since I already had symptoms, they would do the more accurate test. It was the swabs up both nostrils. The nurse listened to my lungs and said they sounded great. My temp was at 97.6, oxygen at 99%. That was a Monday, and got the results on Friday.

They told me to quarantine for 10 days from first sign of symptoms. I had it first, then my son, then my wife. Neither one of them tested, we just assume it was also covid since we are in the same household.

If there was no covid, I would have assumed I had a cold.

Sounds like you pretty much had the same "version" my son and daughter-in-law had. They pretty much fully recovered in 3 days.

Got pre-approved for mortgage from my bank. Called agent to sell the house (soon). Called other loan person agent recommended to see if I can get better interest rate. Still need to finish up remodeling the house (install quarter rounds & caulking)... but have really cleaned up/pack yet. Got a lot of stuff to do

I found a really good deal on 1+ acre property on the rich side of town... has some complicated slope/wetland issues but the more I look into it the more it seems like it might be a good opportunity. Waiting to here back from the town that it is actually a buildable lot and if there are any limitations. Wish me luck.

I feel this post. And on the other end a lot of supervisors/managers fail because they can not understand that even if an employee does something they don't know about, it is still their fault.

I'm actually pretty fortunate where I work in that while there are some techs and engineers who will not hesitate to point fingers, the attitude from senior management is to fix the issue and find out how to prevent it from happening again. Not assigning blame. So much so that those who do try to assign blame are usually looked down upon.

That said, in this case someone did something incredibly stupid and irresponsible (read: doing something they know they shouldn't have done rather than making a honest mistake), and then tried to lie and modify logs to cover it up. That turned what would have been an otherwise forgettable slap on the wrist into a resume generating event.

On the side note. My wife finished baby registry... I tried to put Porsche Taycan Turbo S in that registry, but Amazon didn't let me. Maybe I should of went w Panamera Turbo instead
