I went to the very first post and updated it to give an easy read of all mods currently powering the build (I added the Garrett intercooler on there though, even though right now it doesn't exist. Coming soon)
I will update as I remember little things here and there, but I thought it'd be easier for people to digest and look at exactly what components I've changed (or haven't changed!).

Not the prettiest, but I'll get it sanded and painted once everything is good. Super solid!! Need to measure and do the actual piping now.

Installed the STI motor mounts, what a difference. The car is much nicer on the interior

Had a change of heart, instead of getting quieter I went louder. It's actually quieter inside the car at cruising speeds.
Wanted the weight savings and the quad just wasn't JDM enough

Did a little more work and planning for the new FMIC. The driver's side is going to be a pain in the ass because of how far to the right JDL puts the turbo- we're going to clock the turbo to put the outlet facing the ground. We'll extend the 2" horizontally towards the fan shroud and send it between the fan shroud and frame, where it'll up to 2 1/2" like the rest of the intercooler piping.

We made some cuts and got stuff ready to be welded. Need to order a MAF flange, and the correct BOV flange (ordered for turbosmart raceport BOV, forgot I have veeport.. much smaller)

Was checking it out with bumper on, looks so good. I prefer the look with the front grille, but it kills a bit of the airflow. Our placement requisites for the intercooler were also considering that it needs to be protected by the bash bar- happy to say that we accomplished that!

The car looks so cool in the shop, I need better lighting in my garage. Not sorry if these photos are pedantic, dreams coming true!

Hit 2K miles today since the install. Sending an oil sample to Blackstone and switching to Motul 300v 0w-20. Car is stout, tires hook great after you get heat in them and temps/ oil pressure are consistently good.
Heading to Florida for vacation, when I come back we're going to try and knock out the rest of this intercooler and get working on finishing up the oil sump design. I recorded a video on my old ass GoPro Hero 3 but Youtube is being a prick because I trimmed it a little. it's been "Processing" for hours. I'll post when it comes up for viewing.

What percentage of the massive intercooler core is blocked by the non-functional section of the grill?? Looks like 30% or more?

Not quite that much but it is a significant portion. I am either going to find a way to make it functional, MacGyver a new grille, or leave it open. I am going to be working on some sort of ducting in the future, so I think open (at that point) would be the least desirable option. I definitely don't plan on letting the intercooler be blocked more than it needs to be. Down the road ( long ways away) I'd love to get the Chargespeed front bumper, but I don't know if the opening as actually any taller, just wider.

What about ducting?

(Edit: as in deleting the oem grill, making ducting, and maybe fabbing up a grill... or just fabbing up a new grill now that I'm really thinking this out)

That's the plan eventually! I'll mold something directly to the opening. It's nearing the last days I'm going to be driving it so we'll see what shenanigans I go through in the boredom of winter

My phone is having a hard time with audio in the car, so I whipped out the old GoPro Hero3. Quality is shit, but there's audio at least... just a nice fall cruise video.
Small pull at 10:10 and at the end of the video, where the GoPro randomly decided to stop the clip.

Got a spare transmission and a stock hood so I don't need to worry about winter driving or want to not have the hood vents for some reason.

No plans to really do anything with the transmission except clean it up

We're supposed to get some snow tonight, so I wanted to capture a little of the magic before I end up parking it for the winter. Also a sound check to see how loud the Greddy RS is.

So thankful every day that I have my car back and I can drive it!
