Yeah That was @ILLSMOQ

That may be something I decide to do down the road, but I am going to try without it.

General Update: Dropped the rotor and a 5x114.3 Hub, as well as the caliper brackets off to get machined. Hopefully have these new brakes on this weekend. Depends on how busy they are. I also need to schedule a an alignment and a time to get my tires installed as my old ones are a few miles short of popping lol

Did a once over on the car last night. Found one of the exhaust bolts had backed out. Coolant leak at one of the AN fittings that I am pretty sure just needs tightened, and headlight wiring that needed plugged in.

I also started painting the calipers. I went with silver for now.

Worked on the manifolds a bit yesterday. Trying to find the best way to make the merge. Going to a bit more of a project than I was expecting.

Cut the 90 degree with an angle grinder. Surprised how nice it turned out.

Going to tack it up like this and see if I can get it to work. Seems like a smooth approach.

Got the new exhaust half way done. I am pretty happy with it. Everything lined up really well. My welds are pretty bad, but they should work for now. I might possibly be taking it to a shop to be fixed.

Moved the Brakes lines to begin with. That was kind of stressful as they needed to move quite far.

Got my Caliper Brackets fixed, and my rotor rings back from the machine shop as well. Excited to fit that all in.

Edit: Video of the exhaust dumped after the resonators:

Ran out of welding gas before I could finish the exhaust out from under the diff to the rear bumper. Been driving it around anyway. The passenger side pipe scrapes on just about everything. It will need to be changed over to oval pipe at some point.

The exhaust drones so much less than before. Still a little bit around 2k RPM. I have ordered sound deadening to hopefully cut a lot of it out. Still researching CCF and MLV to cut a lot more out later down the road. Only issue being that it will add a lot more weight to the car. May be worth it with as much as I drive the car though.

Finished up the brakes. Pads are wearing on the rotor weird. Going to check over that hopefully today.

Found a great deal on a Walbro 450 E85. I will need to figure out a mounting. Will probably just order the Radium Engineering Kit for our cars.

I also Pre-Ordered the new HPTuners Device so I can start tuning my car. Going to give it a go myself. Car can drive around currently with no issue, so I only need to fine tune it. Lots of research to go before next week. Supposedly shipping out next Tuesday.

Well the car has oval-ed the passenger side exhaust pipe under the subframe from being so low. Need to slightly raise the car and switch to a true oval tube.

I have started installing a bit of sound deadending. Will go back over it with CCF and MLV later.

I also received my HPTuners. After the 2+ gigs of updates finishes on my tuning laptop I will get it set-up and see about tuning the car myself.

New Walbro 450 as well. Crazy good deal I couldn't pass up. Just need a way to mount it.

Don't mind the square cut out. Needed to get access to the subframe threads early in the cars life. Needs to spend some time getting the more difficult locations.

Small update.

Found a clicking noise in the front end. I believe it to be the brand new front hub on the driver side. Only clicks while making right hand turns and is rotational. I have Checked and can't find anything else that would make the noise. Next step is to switch hubs between driver and passenger and see if the noise follows.

I bought a new cv joint and boot kit for the DSS axle. Hoping it helps with the vibration. Not holding my breath though. DSS seemed to think It wouldn't be an issue and I could just need a new boot but was more than happy to sell me a full cv haha.

Car has been very sluggish to start, and most of the time won't restart if hot. I blamed this on the small 330cca battery in the trunk just not having enough power. Switched it out for a nice 775cca battery and the car starts right up. Need to fix the mounting as it doesn't fit under the trunk floor mat anymore. Thinking about just knocking it down, or cut out a small section and welding in a new battery box.

Somehow the new battery seems to have fixed my fuel gauge??

Ordered up some more 4" stuff to move my filter further out of the engine bay as well as a few 12"x12" sheets of ABS to try and make a nice airbox/blockoff plate. Plan is to just rivet the panels together once I get it all planned out.

New CV Joint for the side that has the ripped boot.

Threw a plastic panel in to see if I liked it enough as a wheel cover. Found that the small increase in wheel offset (by getting rid of the conversion spacer) has caused the wheel to contact the frame and this cover. I may try something else and maybe go to a small tubbed section. I need to more planning as the ABS unit causes quite the issue.

Found my original plans of building a block off plate and having the intake pass through it wouldn't work as there just isn't enough room for 4" pipe plus filter. I made something that works well enough. Ignore the zipties. I just needed something that held it on while messing with it and couldn't find my hose clamps before starting.

Hey man. Couple of questions for you. What tire size were you running when you had your 17x9 Avid Av20s? Fitment looked super good.

Also, would you recommend them? I live in an area where road quality tends to be poor, so don't know if buying cheaper wheels (AV20s) or more expensive wheels is more worth it (57xtremes).

235/40/17 pretty sure. I would suggest a 245 or 255 though.

If you can swing it, I would suggest the 57xtremes. I didn't really have any issues with the AV20s, but I did crack one after hitting a curb hidden under a puddle of water. Still held air though. Drove on it for awhile after as I didn't know.

had a clicking noise on the driver side. I took the hubs off planning on switching them to see if the noise followed. Found the dust shield that was bent during shipping was hitting the speed sensor. I didn't think anything off it when I installed them. I should have fixed it.
