Brembo clearance

Hello,

I’m looking into getting brembo brakes and were wondering if these will have enough clearance for my wheels.

Which Brembo Brakes? There is a whole catalog.

Brembo makes this pretty simple; it's the same for most brake manufactures. You can find or ask for "brake templates."
  • You can print out a brake template on printer paper, glue it onto some cardboard, and cut out the shape.
  • Properly position the template against your wheel hub and see if there is any daylight between the template and the wheel spokes and barrel. That will tell you if there is enough clearance. IIRC, Brembo templates also take into account a recommended 3mm clearance
  • Also, be sure to take note of where wheel weights might go; sometimes they pose a challenge to barrel clearance

See attached for an example of the Brembo GT 326mm Kit Template

If you're looking for OEM PP Brembos, there is a whole thread dedicated to this: https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=135328
  • The GT Kit template is a decent reference for a fit check, since it's about 3mm wider. If your wheels fit the GT brakes, they'll fit the PP brakes
