Well with the top down the Miata has infinitely more headroom.

I find the legroom hard to believe. I like to drive far back and the FRS is the first car I have driven where with the driver's seat all the way back I can't really get at the pedals. I was quite surprised.

I shopped the MX5/Miata, the FRS/BRZ, and the car I really wanted, a Lotus Elise or Exige for a track toy,..the twins got the nod to fit my large frame. Dont know how anyone over 6'2'' could drive a Miata comfortable .

No. I have sat in both recently and driven both. I am 6'-2" 196 lbs. I know Mazda lists the legroom to be more than the BRZ. No way. The BRZ has the perfect sitting position for me. I even have to pull the seat up a bit. The ND Miata is as far back and tilted for me to fit. The telescoping wheel helps the BRZ too. The ND wheel only raises and lowers. The BRZ Limited seats are superb. The ND Club cloth seats are very tight at my shoulders. Gearbox is better in the ND but the BRZ is still good. Steering feel goes to the BRZ. As a daily driver the BRZ will be better. YMMV
