Off topic but how many Series 10 owners are going to 86 nationals?

I'm curious as to how insurance companies are treating the 10 series. Are they just considering the upgrades generic add-ons to the base FR-S or will they be seeing a whole new trim level valued higher? What made me think of this is if I were to total my car tomorrow, would they give me a stock FR-S value payment for the current market value? If so that'd be wayyy lower than what I just paid. I know new cars lose value as they drive off the lot, but do they drop an entire trim level of value on top of depreciation? Curious if anyone knows.

So I notice that in addition to the dealer frame there is also a bracket in the front which I assume was screwed into my bumper. So I install my new frame and I start screwing the stop screws back in and I'm screwing and screwing waiting for it to hit the stop. Well, it doesn't hit the stop so I pull the bracket back and see this.

Turns out my bracket isn't screwed in the bumper, the bracket is screwed into the front grill via the bottom two screws, and I just made two screw size indents into the bumper. FML....

So the good news is that no one can see it..the bad news is that I just marred my bumper for no good reason...

Question, I am getting a clear bra installed next week. Will the raised edges of the screw holes now cause a problem? I don't want to have bubbles in my clear bra.

Should I bother fixing this?

On a happy note, installed my new shark fin from @Beat-Sonic

So the picture makes it look like the paint doesn't match but that's not the case. Keep in my the hood is reflecting the sky and the fin is reflecting the vertical. The color match is actually pretty good and I'm very happy with this product.
Sorry about your bumper. I don't know anything about clear films, sorry.

Sharkfin looks great! How hard is it to install? Is reception as good as the excellent OEM antenna?

Unfortunately any goodies beyond what comes stock on the car will not be counted. Insurance companies take the average value for the car you wrecked and give you a dollar amount based around that figure. Unless you specifically call and ask them to insure the additional parts, they will not be covered.

*Forgot to mention, I know of this first hand--I asked my insurance company when I bought my release series tC and that's the answer Geico and (now) Progressive gave to me.

To me this doesn't make sense. Wouldn't the car be classified as different that the stock FR-S. It is a different model code all together. It is the same as the model code differences between a BRZ and BRZ Limited. The parts are stock, not dealer installed. So if someone with a BRZ Limited got into an accident, their insurance company would give them a BRZ (Non-Limited) replacement?

yeah, I had people commenting on "why are you having the dealer leave everything wrapped?" well on Raven, I asked that it just get washed up so I can drive it off, no plate no nothing else please...they etched the panels. on this one, they parked it on a completely different floor untouched and still wrapped till I picked it up. they knew I was hyper sensitive. on my former supra, same snake bites you have, it's annoying as heck sorry bro. beautiful car regardless. just enjoy it, sh!t happens...

Ok. I don't really listen to radio much but I tested with several stations and it seems pretty good. With hd Channels its all or nothing so not sure how well I tested. Either way it seems fine.

In terms of installation don't make it rocket science. Screw in the cable. Remove the sticker. Place the fin on lightly. Align it so its isn't crooked. Press down. Took me five minutes
