I'm not sure of BC laws but do you get fined if you go front plateless? I went to Quebec and I was quite jealous seeing no front plates on all the local cars however I'm not so jealous considering their RHD ban

Owners of the BRZ (not sure about FRS) are waiting for the mounts from Subaru of Canada, so the delivery during this week will not have a license plate mounted at the front.

Yeah I got pulled over leaving the dealership to go put my front relocation kit on! Was only on the road for about 12 mins.
I'm deff sure I saw your FRS there coming from the Pattullo bridge about 2 weeks ago on a saturday around 2:30pm. I did a quick yell out the window but we were both moving with decent speed.

This. The PDI guy at the dealership didn't want to drill the plate holder on the front until the right mount arrived so I'm driving around without mine on. Haven't had an issue yet.

I wouldn't want holes in my bumper, but I won't want the hassle and fees that come with going plateless. I'd just get a plate relocation kit that attaches to the tow hook.
