I think it looks great, just wish the manual was available with the 6 cylinder as well. I wonder if it will ever be possible to find a base model with the Sasquatch package. Doubt the dealers will configure any of them that way in the first year.

Also given this engine is in the F150, it has probably been tested thoroughly, but you are right that there are more things that could go wrong and they won't be simple to fix if you get stranded.

They didn't give up. The industry was facing 54.4 mpg fleet CAFE regs so Toyota chose to axe the FJC.

I don't like offroading especially and don't like Ford, but even I'm interested in this car. I won't buy one anytime soon but it would be fun to get one years from now. All the car guys I know seem to be excited for it also.

It will be done by some tuner before the car is a month old, maybe even before official release depending on timing with SEMA.

If it's successful (which I'm sure it will be) there will be a huge aftermarket for it, particularly since it is built to mod. A five year old one bought cheap would be a great lego platform for all kinds of mods.
