Problems with BC Racing BR Coilovers Extreme Low

I went through all the thread and read that many members are having noise issues, bolts and nuts being loose after so many miles.

I just ordered mine today.
No I will not be tacking my car, just want to go so low and use it for daily driver.

Did I just bought junk? or made a right decision compared to buying the Megan EZ Street?

to be honest with you, I have the same coilovers. Both my rear ones knock for some reason.

from what I've gathered from the forums it's the endlinks in our car OR it's the top nut that gets loose.

My brz is a daily driver and occasional track days. I ordered customer spring rates 6k front 7k rear. and it drives pretty nice. once you get your damping settings down it drives really smooth. and I'm lowered a good two inches.

I've contacted BC about the rear coilover noise issues. They replied back with well make sure you do a shock test. and provide a video. I'm finishing editing the video to turn into them to hopefully get both rear one replaced.

At the end of the day, they're decent coilovers for daily driving, but you can definitely get better. And hopefully I get both replaced for the rear. Once I get both replaced and I'm still knocking (pinball sound) then it's the rear endlinks that are making noise since suspension travel is reduced.

Both coilovers; the megan racing and BC racing are not that good. Every single time i see a BC thread its about clunking or some other problem. Thailand coilover issues. Stance coilovers are better if you feel like being in the moarlow crowd.

Yes, you bought junk. Do you really think $700 coilovers would not be junk for supporting this car? Daily driving even, there are much better options.

No where because I buy real coilovers like the V3's.

I just threw a price out there because I figured they are that cheap.

I'll be honest; BC racing Megan racing; and all the cheap coilover Thailand brands are for the civics and cheaper cars, not sports cars. Indeed we aren't civics. I for one am prideful of the modifications I put on my car, thus the companies that I rep have to live up to standards. Which goes for a lot of members here. If you're willing to put junk on your car, then you're car will look like junk. Just sayin.

Tell that to Jon M who crushed the TTD record at the bumpiest circuit in the US (Sebring) on BC Racing coils. They certainly won't enhance ride quality especially considering that they come with 8K springs but if play means go fast around a track then you'd have to spend much more than V3 money to make any appreciable gains.

A good example of a good driver on bad suspension. It can and is done evey day. If same driver had proper suspension with proper valving and springs matches to shocks it would be a huge difference.

Now, Jon could have had his BC's revalved and had spring rates matched to the chocks and struts. But then, they're not really BC any more are they?
