So.... on my way to work yesterday I hit what appears to be a giant staple and it deflated my tire in a matter of 30 seconds. I check several places to see if I can get it plugged and patched but they all say no due to it being so close to the sidewall. I call Toyota to get a replacement tire put on but they do not have one in stock and say it will not arrive until Wednesday (5/14) or Thursday (5/15) next week.

My dilemma is I have to drive 25 miles to work and 25 miles from work everyday (the majority of that is on 565 and driving on the doughnut isn't very comforting for that amount of time). I know it's asking a lot but, does anybody possibly have a spare stock wheel and tire that I could borrow for about a week until I get the replacement?

I have one oddball 17x7 5x100 with a good tire. Looks like you are took care of though. I would use this as a excuse to upgrade to something better and go 225/45/17.

Psh. That is not too close to the sidewall. Take it to Top Line Tires off of Jordan Lane and they'll patch it up for $5-$10.

I was able to get that plugged up. Granted, it didn't last entirely long. The tire was still slowly losing air. When I say slowly, I mean like 1-2 PSI a month, if that. Those were also brand new tires! Had them on only for a few months.

Wow, that's quite a puncture. Irregularly shaped, too. Good times.

PS: nice chucks! Those were all I wore from about 8th grade til early last year when I got some Pumas.

I figured I'd let you all know before I posted in the classifieds. I'm selling everything I've put on the car besides the misc. bushings. I'm not setup to ship but could probably meet you somewhere. Some things might need some cleaning but everything is in good shape. Might need gaskets but looks like they might can be reused. Here goes:

-oem low mileage tires
-Weathertech floor mats
-Moddiction billet stainless shift ball(dipped in plastidip)
-Zeta intake tube
-Unichip with pc link tuning cable(not pictured)
-B2autodesigns 15mm and 20mm spacers
-Axle exchange lightweight aluminum driveshaft
-Motiv overpipe
-Borla uel header
-Invidia front pipe(wrapped to kill rasp)
-Perrin resonated catback
-Crawford power blocks

Yeah, need something different. I'll for sure miss it, though.

Oh wow! Will the catback still bolt to the stock pipe? Still got the intake filter? I am only looking for parts that will keep me in C Street for autoX.

Sorry, I shipped them out yesterday.

Spacers, header, overpipe, Crawford bpb's, intake tube are gone. I still have the catback, unichip, driveshaft, frontpipe, floor mats, tires left
