How do they stand up to Ohlins, and what factual information do you have in regards to that?
I would also like to see dyno plots, hysteresis, etc.

If these "built to order" shocks aren't matched on a shock dyno before shipment, being "built to order" isn't nearly as impressive.

I'll admit I'm intrigued after reading a bit more on FA last night.

I'm curious what is different on the DSG edition.

It seems to be the 500 series with the Swift spring and radial mount upgrade and extended rear adjusted. Which brings us to about $1650 everywhere this package is sold.

So the extra $70 is for the AMSOIL fluid over IP, and different color shock bodies?

No valving changes or anything of that nature?

Yup you get different colors (but lets be honest if your shopping for colors you dont care about performance lol) and the Amsoil shock fluid. The upgraded shock fluid is really nice to have as the dampening seems more consistent vs stock in lower temps (-15C to +20C is all they have seen on my car so far) but that could also be due to the damper design.

As far as valving I believe @Jason@DSG said they are valved a little more aggressive but not nearly as aggressive as the 510 series. However this is Fortune Auto so you can get them valved however you want.

It's actually $1674 ($1199 + $350 + $80 + $45)

With the DSG Editions you get the colors, shock dyno plot, AMSoil shock fluid and the valving. We also include free shipping on them in the US so I'd say for $45 extra, the DSG Edition's are definitely worth it

Fortune Auto says on their site all shocks come with a dyno plot.

So how are the DSG shocks valved differently than the standard FA 500s for the BRZ?

You can get it done for any coilovers on request, they don't provide them with every set. It's $40.00 for a shock dyno plot ($10 per corner).

The valving was determine by them and combined with how the AMSoil reacts, a slightly more aggressive setup than the 500's
