Even used 1st gen engines are still quite expensive. I can buy like 4 K24's for what one cost. I feel like I stole the last FA20 I bought since I got it for free with a spun rod bearing.

Much like anywhere else in the world certain types of cars are associated with certain types of people. Cars don't change but people association does, depending upon each country.

Never been tempted to go for a Morgan, when the opportunity did arise for an extreme toy it was a Caterham that got the nod.

Fancy a 550 or a 575.. but again no idea why..
